Biography
Jodie has15 years of professional writing, communications and fundraising experience in the not-for-profit sector for both print and online media. She currently writes funding proposals, cases for support, video scripts, and website content for different international and national organizations.
Since 2009 she has traveled to projects all over the world, gaining a thorough understanding of them, interviewing key people, helping to construct budgets where necessary, clarifying the ultimate aims of the projects, encouraging blue sky thinking and finally presenting the campaigns and projects to target audiences in a persuasive, emotive, yet factual format.
Previously, Jodie was Greenpeace Australia's photgrapher and A/V co-ordinator, Greenpeace Australia's web manager, then director of Brightspark web creation and strategies. She has taught web design, animation, video editing, sound editing, multimedia project management, and 2D graphics at Crows Nest College of TAFE (Sydney), and the JMC Academy (Sydney).
She also has three novels published internationally, and is currently writing her fourth.
